Which Provinces have the highest and lowest literacy rate in Nepal

Nepal has seven provinces. While latest data on these provinces are not yet available, Ministry of Education last year released a report that provides literacy rate of provinces based on the 2011 Census.

The literacy rate of Nepal in 2011 was 66%. Province 3 has the highest literacy rate (74.8%) while Province 2 has the lowest (49.5%) in the country. Check out the chart below to see literacy rate of other provinces.
